Do you charge for your services?

If we are at an ACG event as mobile cosplay medics, or if we have a booth at the convention, we don't expect payment. â€‹We will only charge if the costume/prop requires major repair, which means the service becomes a commission. Our rates will depend on the complexity, skill, and time needed to repair the damages. We will always inform the customer of any charges before repairing.

For services outside of ACG events, our rates will depend on the type of work itself, travel cost (if any), and other factors as agreed upon.

Why do you repair costumes for free at ACG events? 

Because the pioneer cosplay medics before us have established this concept. Cosplay medic has largely always been a community service, sometimes even seen as a sub-hobby. That's why we mostly won't ask for payment; when our customers donate in tips or items out of goodwill, it makes our relationship with the community much more valuable!

How can I find you?

Follow us on Instagram (@qiqi.cosplaymedics) or Facebook (Qiqi's Cosplay Medics) for announcements on our whereabouts! Normally we will post a map of the event's layout a day or two before the actual event date. Then we will post a photo of our whereabouts on the day itself. Alternatively, you can DM us on IG if you need help finding us. If you're looking for us at the event itself, look for a signboard and a cart that says "Qiqi's Cosplay Medics"! We may also be wearing a purple apron with our logo.

What if I have something to fix before/after an event?

Send us a message on IG, or email us here, so we can discuss the arrangements. We may charge for the repair service, depending on the complexity and size of it.
